Self Publishing

Self Publishing

According to reports published by Wikipedia, 2008 marked the first time in history that more books were self-published than those published traditionally. Because of the advancement of technology in printing, most notably print-on-demand (digital printing), along with the movement of online retailing, self-publishing remains the most dominate source of book publishing.
Self-publishing allows the publication of any book, or other media, by the author without involvement of an established publishing house or third-party publisher. The process of book design, type of binding, ability to produce electronic formats, pricing, marketing, and distribution can be under the control of the author, or parts of the process (such as the printing and distribution) can be outsourced to companies like this one that offer such services.

Digital Impressions provides a variety of printing options for self-publication. If an author desires the ability to package print and ebook solutions, Digital Impressions can successfully guide an author through the process.
